6 Payment Firms, Frozen Settlements: Why Your Withdrawal Is Stuck
If your gaming withdrawal has been stuck on “processing” for days, the name on the other end of the jam might be one of six companies you have never heard of: SWICH, Simpaisa, ajarPay, RapidPay, Zero Technologies, or Finza Tech. These payment firms are at the center of the October 2026 settlement freeze — and understanding their role explains exactly why your money is not moving.
The Six Firms in the Spotlight
Reporting on the FIA–PTA operation names six payment intermediaries dealing with frozen or delayed merchant settlements: SWICH, Simpaisa, ajarPay, RapidPay, Zero Technologies, and Finza Tech. International processor dLocal is separately investigating issues tied to Easypaisa channels. These are not wallet apps you use directly — they are the behind-the-scenes pipes connecting gaming platforms to JazzCash, Easypaisa, and the banking system.
When investigators traced nearly Rs. 120 billion in real-money gaming transactions flowing through JazzCash, these aggregators were the layer where the money changed hands in bulk. Under the State Bank’s May 2026 framework, firms that could not produce clean documentation for those flows became enforcement targets.
How a Frozen Settlement Traps Your Withdrawal
Here is the journey of a typical Rs. 2,000 withdrawal:
- You tap “withdraw” in the gaming app and enter your Easypaisa number.
- The app sends a payout instruction to its payment aggregator.
- The aggregator is supposed to push Rs. 2,000 from its settlement account to your wallet.
- But the settlement account is frozen. The instruction sits in a queue with thousands of others, going nowhere.
The app shows “processing.” Your wallet shows nothing. Nobody stole your money — it is parked in a pipeline that regulators have shut off. Until the firm resolves its compliance issues (or the app switches to a working aggregator), the queue does not move.
Why Some Apps Still Pay Out Fine
Not every platform uses the same plumbing. Apps connected to aggregators with clean paperwork — or those settling directly through bank channels — are still paying out, sometimes within the usual minutes. This is why player experiences vary so wildly right now: two apps, same wallet, completely different withdrawal speeds. The difference is the middleman.
What You Can Do
- Ask support which channel your payout uses. You may not get a straight answer, but payout speed is itself a signal — apps paying on time have working pipes.
- Withdraw smaller amounts. Large payouts draw more scrutiny and are more likely to stall in a backlogged queue.
- Screenshot every stuck transaction with its ID, amount, date, and status. If settlements unfreeze, documented claims get paid first.
- Do not “re-withdraw” the same balance repeatedly. Duplicate requests clog the queue further and can trigger fraud flags on your account.
- Watch for apps announcing new payment partners. Platforms migrating to compliant aggregators will usually say so — that is a good sign.
The Road Ahead
Settlement freezes are rarely permanent — firms either produce the documentation, restructure, or exit the market. But the process takes weeks, not days. Players should plan around slow payouts through at least the rest of the month, keep balances modest on affected apps, and treat any platform promising “instant withdrawals” right now with healthy skepticism.
We are tracking which channels recover and will update this story as settlement pipelines come back online.
